I love Ry Cooder's score for Paris Texas, or Terance Blanchard for his work, Ennio Morricone...sooooooo many more.
What is an interesting fun fact about you?
Married to my H.S. sweetheart.
My Uncle Bernie Glow (Glatzer, his side of the family spelled it that way) was a trumpet player, session player, Tonight Show Orchestra when they were in NY, Broadway, big bands (Xavier Cugat, etc).
I have a 1st degree (Cho Dan) black belt (actually my style uses a midnight blue) in Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art.
Steve Glotzer has been performing his unique blend of latin, jazz, acoustic and blues around the country at clubs, festivals and concerts for over thirty years. Often compared to “Ottmar Liebert, and Wes Montgomery meets Bruce Cockburn”, he has opened shows for a wide range of artists such as Delbert McClinton, Blues Traveler, Dr. John, Larry Coryell, David Grisman, Son Seals, David Wilcox, Sonia Dada Roger McGuinn, John Cowen, Richard Elliott, and more. Steve has released nine CDs; Life Imitates Art, Lately, Acoustic Christmas I & II, A Softer Side and Memory of One, Acoustic Season, Acoustic Album, Acoustically Yours and his music has been featured in movies and TV, on such shows as The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Harry's Law, Diane Sawyer's documentary on Appalachia, "Children of the Mountain", Oprah, Desperate Housewives, Knight Rider, Wife Swap, Young and the Restless, King of the Hill, Martha Stewart Living, Kathy Griffen Show, One Life to Live, Passions, Monk, etc…and in movies (A Guy Thing, Friends With Money, etc).
