Mike Plas
What is your hometown?
Lenexa, Kansas, which is a suburb of Kansas City
What is your current location?
Hollywood, CA
Who are your favorite composers/producers?
Alan Silvestri, Ludwig Göransson, Brian T. Tyler, Christophe Beck and of course, John Williams. Ludwig has been really pushing the boundaries and taking score into new, uncharted and very exciting territory. He's my favorite as of today. I'm old school when it comes to favorite producers such as Andy Johns, Glyn Johns, Keith Olson, Max Norman and Mutt Lange but I also dig some of the "newer" guys like Butch Vig, Eric Valentine and Elvis Baskette. When it comes to Pop Music, the answer is simple: Max Martin
What is an interesting fun fact about you?
I began playing guitar at age 4 because I wanted to be like my Dad, who was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in 2007. I played my first show the following year while in Kindergarten and have never looked back. :)
