David Forlano

What is your hometown?

I grew up in Norwalk, CT and moved to Bethel, CT when I was 14. I lived in Orlando, Florida for one year when going to college and received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Business.

What is your current location?

After receiving my degree, I moved back to Connecticut and currently reside in Norwalk which is about an hour outside of New York City.

Who are your favorite composers/producers?

I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music for inspiration. My favorite Hip Hop producers are, The RZA (Wu-Tang), Dr. Dre and DJ Premiere. My favorite EMD producers are Martin Garrix, deadmau5 and Calvin Harris. Some of my favorite Rock composers are Deftones, Tool and A Perfect Circle.

What is an interesting fun fact about you?

In my spare time, I like to play basketball to exercise. I also enjoy watching the NBA when I have time, this gives me a chance to see what background cues are playing during highlights and going into commercials.

David Forlano is a Composer, Engineer, and Songwriter based just outside of New York City. David started his musical journey playing the drums in a band and has transitioned his songwriting abilities over to his keyboard and DAW where he creates various styles of music, including Hip-Hop (Trap, Modern), EDM (Dance Pop, Future Bass) and Ambient Tension (Atmosphere, Sci-Fi).
