The highest compliment you’ll hear from Scott’s collaborators is that they trust him and that he listens. Most recently Scott scored and co-produced a film with the Emmy-nominated producer and director Jared Callahan about the complicated life and death of jazz professor Dan Nelson. Stories, fiction or nonfiction, shape who we are and how we live; to score meaningful stories with excellent storytellers is Scott’s great passion.
Scott and his wife live in London where he writes for his projects and assists the BAFTA-nominated composer Murray Gold with a number of network productions. Scott’s years of classical training and eclecticism started in Japan at a young age and matured with mentorship from LA’s talented scoring and engineering luminaries making Scott a versatile composer valued by his collaborators.
