"Manchester-born singer/songwriter, Matthew Adam Green's brand of wistful indie folk owes as much to the road as it does to contemporaries Ben Howard and The Lumineers.
Years ago, in southern Vietnam, a fellow musical nomad discovered Green and a bunch of friends penning a tune based on the graffiti-clad walls of a hostel. The reception that followed steered him away from a future of songs that never made it out of the bedroom, towards a thriving Melbourne music scene where he formed Fool Child with close friend and producer Avro Arvo.
Upon returning to the UK in 2019, Green launched his solo project with his debut EP 'Into Unknown, Into Distance, Into Life' touching on themes of love, loss and wanderlust. Now firmly rooted in Manchester's thriving indie scene, Green is currently working on his debut album, 'this future we'll adore', which is set for release in 2023."
